A good book can be more difficult to find than the perfect spouse, a great-paying job, or a restaurant that serves good sushi. The search can be fun though, like a treasure hunt. I love searching for a great book just as much as I like to read it. I enjoy perusing book stores and consignment shops, roaming library shelves, and digging to the bottom of boxes filled with used books at garage sales. Books are like treasures, and a good story can be found anywhere. Some are best sellers, others are lesser known. When I look for a book, I don’t care if it has won a Pulitzer; it just needs to be interesting, unique, or have a message–a reason to read it. I have a bookshelf full of books that fit that description, and I’d like to share my found treasures in this blog. Think of me as your literary liaison to your next great read.

  2. I would love for you to update with some more recent posts! Your philosophy on books mirrors mine to a tee and I love your photo in your header, recognizing some of those spines! Thank you for visiting my “How to Become a new Blogger without Sounding like an old Codger” post and I hope to have you stop in again, as will I.

    Take care,

    • Thank you. I do plan on updating this more in the future. I started another blog and I just haven’t had the time to read anything, or at least anything I feel is worth recommending. I just got back from the library so here’s hoping : )
